Surfers Show Off Their Skills On OBX

Hundreds of surfers showed off their skills at a competition on the Outer Banks Saturday.

Fin walk, cut back, off the lip and even some aerial 360s were some of the moves spectators cheered for.

The Eastern Surfing Association held its regional championship Saturday. Surfers from all over the East were invited.

Over 600 surfers of all ages competed in different categories. The competition had to be moved from Buxton to Nags Head due to the Hurricane Irene.

The wave riding vehicles pro competition also had to be moved from Kitty Hawk.
