Sunshine And Warmer For Thursday Across Eastern North Carolina

High pressure along the East Coast will move offshore Thursday allowing warmer air to move into eastern North Carolina. Highs will hit the upper 60s in most locations with a few communities reaching 70°. Skies will be mostly sunny and that will add a bit more warmth to the air. A cold front will approach the area late Friday giving us mover clouds and a chance for showers late in the day. Any rain should end early Saturday followed by drier and colder air for the weekend.
