Sunny Skies Return For the Weekend

It appears that our weather pattern is finally changing after several weeks of below normal temperatures. Sunshine will return to the area Saturday as highs reach the lower to middle 50s. We could even hit the upper 50s by Sunday afternoon. High pressure will keep any storm systems deflected well to the north of our state into next week. Overnight lows will remain cold with below freezing temperatures for the next two nights. Even warmer temperatures can be expected by the middle to latter portion of next week.

We got a light rain around 4-6 P.M. that by 10 P.M. had frozen making a thin sheet of ice on my deck. Treacherous!

And there was 0% of precipitation today. Wait, that was yesterday morning's forecast for today. Down East it rained for hours today. Guess I'll wait 'til Saturday night before making any Sunday plans.
