High pressure remains in control of our weather pattern across the Southeast. The high will be centered over eastern North Carolina Tuesday night giving the the area clear and cool conditions. Warmer air will return to eastern North Carolina late Wednesday as the high moves offshore and winds return to a southwesterly direction. The warm air will last into Thursday as highs approach 80°. There will be plenty of sunshine for the next two days.
