Clear skies and cool temperatures are expected across eastern North Carolina for Friday. Highs will top out in the upper 50s in most communities. High pressure from the Ohio Valley will move into the Southeast and become stationary through the weekend. It will keep nights chilly but afternoon highs will gradually get warmer. Overnight lows Friday night will dip into the middle 30s and frost is likely. Sunny skies should take highs into the 60s for Saturday and Sunday.
