High pressure over eastern North Carolina overnight will lead to patchy frost along and west of Highway 17. The high will move offshore Thursday allowing somewhat warmer air to invade the area. We should see highs in the middle to upper 60s by afternoon. We'll continue to see plenty of sunshine although a few clouds by develop by late in the day. Rain should overspread our area by Friday morning. The rain should move out by late Friday night and that should make way for a nice weekend.
