In fact, the front will stall across the area by Saturday afternoon into Sunday causing numerous showers and thunderstorms. Some of the rainfall over the weekend could be locally heavy. One to 2 inches is likely with locally heavier amounts. High temperatures will be in the upper 80s Saturday and middle 80s on Sunday.
