Strong Winds Cause Tree To Fall Onto Car

Strong winds caused a tree to fall onto a car in Greenville near the intersection of Firetower Rd. and Arlington Blvd. Saturday afternoon.

Meteorologist Matt Englebrecht took these pictures at the scene.

There are no reports of serious injuries.

    I can't believe you would say something like that! Maybe if it was you who couldn't get to work in the morning you would feel much differently. I hope this person doesn't have a family to take care of.

    It's a fact that thoughout the years there has been more wind damage in Pitt County than Beaufort County and yet Beaufort County is considered a coastal county and must have home owners wind insurance.

    Oh well, one less gas guzzler on the road means a few fewer dollars of profits of oversea companies. Glad no one was hurt.

      that is a bmw z4 which gets 28 mpg and that is hardly a gas guzzler. they also employee 7000 people at the spartanburg sc plant not to mention the many bmw dealerships throughout the us

      Wow way to be supportive on such a crappy day. I hope this person has another means of transportation so they can get to work and make money to pay for living expenses. I can't even believe you would post something like that.
