State Officials: No Wrongdoing By Electric Company In Employee Death

The NC Department of Labor has wrapped up an investigation into an accident that claimed the life of an electric worker late last year.

State officials say they did not find any violations on the part of Tri-County Electric.

Donald Deaver of Seven Springs was killed on Highway 111 in Wayne County back on November 22nd.

Deaver was in the bucket of a utility truck working on a power outage when a tractor trailer struck the arm holding the bucket.

Deaver was shaken out and fell to his death.
