State House Speaker To Hold Town Halls In East

State House Speaker Thom Tillis is hosting town hall meetings in the East this week.

Town halls are planned for Thursday at King's BBQ in Kinston at noon, and at Pitt Community College in Winterville at 5 p.m.

On Friday, a town hall is planned in New Bern at the North Carolina History Center at 8:30 a.m.

    Maybe he & his budget writer could visit some of the agencies from where they cut positions and had never stepped a foot in.........NOT LIKELY!

    i too dont beleive that mr tillis would be welcome in any part of north eastern north carolina either perhaps he would be welcome in the areas west of THE I-95 CORRIDOR but not in eastern n.c. in my own personal opinion thank you

    I have got a questionm to pose to mr tillis an it is as follows when are they going to put an end to the waste fraud an absue of the spending of taxpayers dollars that is an has been taking place within the states ncdot with unjustifiable payments being made to contracting enitys at great expense to the states taxpaying citizens most especially in their dire time if indeed thwey are truely dire straits time as that i am not completely convince of existing in the beinging thank you
