Sonic Robbery Caught On Tape, Suspects Wanted

A terrifying night for two fast food workers in Greenville was caught on tape as the victims of an armed robbery were ordered to the floor at gunpoint, and one of them was kicked several times.

It happened late Sunday night, July 10th, at the Sonic on Greenville Boulevard. You can see the three suspects coming in the restaurant pointing a gun at one of the workers and ordering him to the ground. Moments later they go to another part of the restaurant and order another employee to get on the floor as they begin to go through the safe. The suspects got an undisclosed amount of money and took off toward the rear of the business. Police say the employee who was kicked did not need medical treatment.

Just last month the Sonic on Memorial Drive was robbed at gunpoint.

I guess my recommendation that kandi smith do her "research" (cop baiting) in front of Sonic did not pass the censors

There isn't a story on the "Prayer Walk" they had in Greenville today. I figured WITN would "BE THERE"!

Were the suspects ever 'not' wanted?

Just blame it on the gangs! Too bad the problem extends outside this so called 'gang' issue. The African American community needs to step it up, or we will see vigilante justice take over.

Thankyou Greenville for making my decision on where I'm going to move next year. Guess what? It won't be there!

When are the employers in NC going to get a clue, and start hiring people who have CC permits, or are willing to OC? Pawn shops and gun stores ALL let their employees carry on the job. Maybe Sonic needs to hire a few people who are trained and qualified to defend themselves...
