A weak area of low pressure along the North Carolina coast will give us a bit of light rain Thursday evening. The rain should move offshore early Friday followed by a mixture of clouds and sunshine on Friday afternoon. High pressure from the Midwest will push eastward over the weekend giving us additional sunshine and slowly warming temperatures. Most communities will get close to 60 degrees Friday with lower 60s expected Saturday afternoon. By Sunday, we could see highs in the middle to upper 60s except lower 60s along the beaches. Even warmer air will arrive early next week.
