You might want to call him a smooth criminal. Deputies say a man arrested this morning put Noxzema all over his face in an attempt to conceal his identity.
Pitt County deputies say Tommy Peaden II was charged with breaking or entering a motor vehicle, and possession of burglary tools.
Spokeswoman Christy Wallace says the man put the beauty cream on his face in an attempt to hide his identity as he broke into the vehicle around midnight at a business on Highway 33, west of Greenville. His mug shot was taken by detention officers with the Noxzema in tact.
Wallace says Peaden was wearing a camouflage jump suit, a baseball cap, black gloves and the Noxzema. She says the man had a ski mask and tools in his pockets.
Deputies say they found him inside a white pickup truck at 252 Imports.
The 27-year-old Peaden remains in jail on a $10,000 bond.
