Slightly Cooler With A Threat Of Showers For Eastern North Carolina

A cold front move off the North Carolina coast late Tuesday but will stall across northern South Carolina on Wednesday. A weak area of low pressure along the front will increase the threat for showers across eastern North Carolina late Wednesday into Thursday. Rainfall is not expected to be heavy with most locations receiving between a tenth and quarter-inch. Temperatures will return to seasonable levels by topping out in the lower 70s the next two days.
