Slightly Cooler For Friday

A shift in the wind to a more south to southeasterly direction will allow slightly cooler air to invade eastern North Carolina over the next two days. Highs will reach the upper 80s inland and lower to middle 80s along the coast. Some clouds will move into the area late Friday into Saturday but any shower activity will be widely scattered. Sunny skies will return for Sunday and Memorial Day as highs hit 90 or the lower 90s.
