Silver Alert For Chocowinity Couple

Authorities have cancelled a Silver Alert for a missing Beaufort County woman, but not for her husband.

There is no immediate word on where Betty LeBlanc was found.

Previous Story

A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing couple from Chocowinity whom authorities believe may be endangered. Law enforcement are looking for Phillip and Betty LeBlanc of Beaufort County.

The alert was issued late Wednesday night.

Betty LeBlanc is 87 years old, while her husband Phillip is 81 years old. The alerts for the LeBlancs say they may be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

Officials believe the couple was heading down Interstate 95 towards Florida. It's expected that they are driving a 2004 maroon Kia Sedona with Florida tags, E4935L.

Betty was last seen wearing a light blue windbreaker. Phillip was last seen wearing a dark blue windbreaker.

People who may know where the LeBlancs are are asked to call the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office at (252) 946-0101.

Iam glad that they have been found, if they both have, if not my prayers are still with them, as they were the whole time.

The alert was cancelled for the lady, not the man. Has anyone heard anything on him?

Is this the gentleman that goes to Mike Mini Mart. He enjoys playing the lottery. Pretty lucky at it too. Super nice guy.

Oh my gosh, Crystal I was thinking the same thing as you. I know the guy you are thinking of and this man looks JUST like him -- that's who I thought this was. I'm glad someone cleared this up. I do believe Linwood lives in Washington though and this guy lives in Chocowinity. They look like they could be twins -- weird! Hope they find this guy safe. Prayers going out to his wife and family.

I think you have this man confused with someone named Linwood Stokesberry........they look A LOT alike!! But this man is definitely not the one you are talking about. I know his family, he is not a poor man, nor a wealthy man, but i assure you he would never have to go around begging for food.
