Post-christmas bargains drew shoppers back out to stores Thursday.

Most of the people we spoke with at the New Bern Mall were happy with Santa Claus this year, so they didn't have any exchanges or returns. However, they went back for more stuff.

While some shoppers were there to buy some very very very last minute gifts, others wanted to snag some deals!

"I'm shopping for a friend of mine who luckily isn't down here and doesn't know I'm shopping today," said one shopper.
"We're looking for those special bargains that we didn't get for Christmas and we've made out pretty well so far," said another shopper.

Many stores were offering 50, 60, and even 75 percent off. Some stores, including Belk, opened at 6:00 a.m.Thursday expecting big crowds.
