Sheriff's Office Warns Of String Of Home Break-Ins

The Lenoir County Sheriff's Office is warning homeowners about a string of breaking and enterings and they need help finding the people responsible.

The sheriff's office says that within the last 30 days numerous breaking and entering have taken place on Dawson Station Road, Institute Road, Poole Road and Fred Everett Road.

Lawmen say the break-ins happen during the day when most of the homeowners are at work.

If you have any information you are asked to call the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office.

Anonymous - If you think police are picking your locks, put the pipe down your just paranoid. Defender - what do you think they will steal from your home while your away.... your gun. Guns don't hurt people - people hurt people. This is an encouragement for Community Watch just a 21'st century version.

Look at what the NC Gun laws say about someone trying to break into your home. Then buy a gun.

If they know the area is a target, post an undercover officer to patrol it.

Installed my own home alarm system and programmed it with no assistance. It's just a matter of following instructions. Was having a problem with the local police picking my locks and stealing from my residence when I was not home.
