A stationary frontal system just to our west will keep showers across western North Carolina over the next few days. Some isolated showers could reach our area but most locations should remain free of rain for the next two to three days. Temperatures will reach the middle to upper 70s during the afternoons and dip into the 50s at night. Winds will remain light and out of the north or northeast through Wednesday. The relative humidity will be in the moderate range but the lighter winds should be able to help firefighters with the wildfire in Dare County.
