Search Ends For Suspect In Wilson

Wilson police say a man who was the subject of a manhunt Thursday is now behind bars.

Michael Keeter, who goes by his middle name of Scott, was wanted for violating a domestic violence protection order, several counts of breaking and entering, stalking and larceny of a motor vehicle.

Police say they caught Keeter around 5:30 this morning in a shed behind his ex-girl friend's home on Pebble Beach Circle.

Authorities started searching for the man Thursday morning after he ran from police during a traffic traffic.

Police say Keeter broke into the woman's home twice in the past two weeks. They say on October 30th he stole jewelry and then broke in again on November 9th.

Authorities in Wilson County are looking for a man they say violated a restraining order and ran from officers.

Wilson Police say 48-year-old Michael Keeter is on the run.

Authorities say that his ex-girlfriend has a restraining order against him which he violated twice.

Wilson Police were in the area when he showed up Thursday morning in a vehicle. When they tried to stop him he took off on foot.

Wilson Police, the sheriffs department and a highway patrol helicopter have been looking for him.
