A man already out on bond for holding up one business is now back in jail on charges he held up another, this time an ice cream shop.
Patrick Driggers and Anthony Broadwater, both of Jacksonville, were arrested twenty minutes after the Super Scoop Ice Cream Shop reported the robbery Sunday night. Deputies say the clerk giving a good description of the robbers and their getaway car helped solve the crime.
Melissa Damren was behind the counter and says she thought she was going to die. She says she eventiually got into a conversation with Broadwater who told her, "Calm down and that he didn't want any trouble."
Driggers is awaiting trial for last year's robbery of Johnson's Pharmacy at West Park Shopping Center. Both men have been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and are being held on $100,000 bonds.
