Soufan, also known as Sammy, owned Sammy's Food Mart on Old Wilson Road in Rocky Mount. He was gunned down in his store last Tuesday.

Police have said two or three men may be responsible. They might also be driving a four door, older model gray Toyota Camry with three hubcaps and one black steel rim.

Anyone with information should contact Rocky Mount police.

Its good that you all are now trying hard to find the killers but let me be honest I truly believe that you should offer more because he is just not another victim of crime but he is someone that has done alot for his community. Sammy did not deserve to die the way that he did. I know everyone has a job to do but at some point in time some of you forgot what prtotecting the community was all about. If we all pulled together & if the rules of the law was really enforce then we wouldn't be loosing as many souls as we are know. No, we can not control ignorance but we can help support our community. Make a safer place for our children to be raised. Lets stop putting so much focus on how to elimanate drugs on the street & more focus on those with illlegal weapons with bad intentions. Sammy death have really impacted many of our lives. more than many may know or understand. I will continue to uphold his family in my prayers. For all others lets take a final stand. its getting to close to home
