Residents Return To Jacksonville Apartments Two Months After Flooding

Onlsow County Residents forced to move out of their homes after flooding in October are finally returning back home.

Residents at Webb Apartments in Jacksonville are moving back in slowly after two months of renovations. 40 units were affected by the recent floods some of which had water going through windows. Officials say the had to gut those apartments and start from scratch. Everything inside is brand new such as the sheet rock, the installation, cabinets, floors, storm doors and carpeting.

"I'm very excited. I'm excited for my tenants because they are almost waiting in line to get their keys to get back in," said apartment co-manager Debbie Morton.

Not all the apartments will be ready before Christmas. Most likely some will have to wait until the end of the month to move back in.
