Registered Sex Offender Arrested In Pitt County

A registered sex offender is back behind bars for failing to register with law enforcement.

Robert Harris, 62, of Ayden is in the Pitt County Detention Center this morning, under a $25,000 bond. According to his record, he was convicted in 2000 for a crime against a 14 year old in Georgia when he was 38.
