A Pitt County industrial site that's been sitting idle for more than three years has a new owner.
Confidential Records Management, Inc. is buying the old Robert Bosch Tool plant in Greenville. Bosch closed its Greenville plant in 2007, throwing some 200 people out of work.
CRMI is a business and health care information management and professional record management company. With the new Greenville site, CRMI says it will become the largest record management company in the area. The company already has facilities in Greenville, New Bern and Rocky Mount.
“We are excited about the growth opportunity in Greenville and Eastern North Carolina,” states Gail Bisbee, president/CEO. “Professional record management and protection of vital records is our core business. Introducing the data center and expansion of our current record center operations in Greenville will provide businesses with cutting edge technology options as well as cost effective alternatives document management solutions.”
The sale of the 137,127 square foot facility was brokered by Hart Corporation.
