More than 85 local races are on the ballot in 13 counties across Eastern Carolina.

Starting at Sunrise Tuesday, you can count on WITN to bring you team coverage of Decision 2013 and results on witn.com once the polls close at 7:30 p.m.

BEAUFORT COUNTY:

The Washington Council race is a big one on the ballot in Beaufort County. The incumbent mayor in Belhaven also has a challenger.


BERTIE COUNTY:

Voters in Bertie County will decided on races for Creswell Commissioner, Lewiston Council and WIndsor Commissioner.


CARTERET COUNTY:

There are nine races in towns in Carteret County, including Beaufort Commissioner, Emerald Isle Mayor, Morehead City Council and Newport Mayor.


CRAVEN COUNTY:

In Craven County, a runoff race will determine New Bern's next mayor. The mayor's seat in Havelock is also on the ballot.


DUPLIN COUNTY:

There are six races in Duplin County, including Beulaville Commisioner and Warsaw Mayor.


GREENE COUNTY:

Voters in Snow Hill will decide a commissioner race.


JONES COUNTY:

There are eight races in Jones County, including five fire tax decisions for voters to make.


LENOIR COUNTY:

In Lenoir County, voters in Kinston will decide if the incumbent mayor retains his seat, while Kinston Council seats are also on the ballot.


MARTIN COUNTY:

In Martin County, voters are casting their ballots on Jamesville Mayor, Jamesville Commissioner and Oak City Commissioner.


ONSLOW COUNTY:

Eight races are on the ballots in Jacksonville and towns across Onslow County. Two big races are for Jacksonville Council Ward 2 and Jacksonville Council At-Large.


PAMLICO COUNTY:

Voters in Oriental will cast their ballots in the mayor and commissioner races.


PITT COUNTY:

Pitt County has more than 20 races, including the highly competitive Greenville council seats as well as the Greenville mayoral race and the Community College Bonds referendum.


WASHINGTON COUNTY:

In Washington County, voters will cast their ballots on Plymouth Mayor and three Plymouth council races.


There are no elections in Hyde or Tyrrell counties.
