Rain Develops Tuesday

Soggy conditions can be expected across North Carolina for the next two days. An area of low pressure developing in the northern Gulf of Mexico will spread rain northeast across the region this afternoon. The rain will continue into Wednesday and it could get heavy at times. Early estimates would suggest most locations should receive between 1 and 2 inches of rain. The air will not be cold enough to produce snow this time around although temperatures will remain chilly for this time of year.
