Classic example of how not to drive; driving a Suburban this morning on River Road, another SUV passes me...in a hurry....White in color...has the zig zag moment on the slush, strikes the curb then takes off again. After her second slide on the bridge in Washington Park.... Upon hitting the red light in town...talking on her cell phone, with two toddlers in child seats in back...And you wonder why NC wants to ban cell phone use while driving...

Pitt Co. is the only school district not closed around the area. Hope no school buses have any accidents. Roads where I live are not treated.

The salt brine makes it easier for the plows to push the snow off the roads. People stop complaining about the DOT. They are always working wether it is below freezing to over 100 degrees.

Keep roads slick...it makes jobs for hospital workers, EMTs, police, firemen, tow truck operators, insuance adjustors, body shops, personal injury lawyers, etc. Ladies and gentlemen, wrap it around a telephone pole today if you're committed to getting this economy moving.
