Quick Response Helps Save Woman's Life

A troopers quick response may have saved the life of a driver Saturday morning in Pitt county.

According to the NC Highway Patrol Trooper W.D. Coley pulled over the driver of a jeep who was driving erratically on Stantonsburg Road in around 10:15 a.m.

Trooper Coley quickly realized the 54-year-old woman driving the jeep was suffering from a serious medical condition and was having trouble breathing.

The trooper contacted EMS but decided to take the woman to PCMH himself.

Medical personnel was able to treat the driver and stabilize her condition.

Not surprised at the actions of Trp. Coley. He is one of Pitt County and NC's finest. However; he chooses to just do his job and remain under the radar. Very proud of you!! Keep up the good work!
