Police: Victim Assaulted Then Robbed

Greenville police are investigating a robbery where the victim says he was assaulted, thrown on the ground, then robbed Friday night.

According to Greenville Police the victim says it happened around 11pm on 110 East 4th Street.

The victim, 42 year old Santiago Celvan of Greenville, says the suspect first asked him for a ride then robbed him. Celvan suffered minor injuries.

The suspect was described as a black male, 6’ to 6’2, 180-190 pounds with a thin build. The suspect was bald and was last seen wearing a green shirt.

    I hope the facts are corrct concerning this suspect. If not, Calvin will be upset. If the facts are correct and the physical description of the suspect is right, Calvin will be okay with this.
