Greenville police have named two persons of interest in a March bank robbery. They also say the two are not cooperating with their investigation.
The First South Bank branch on Fire Tower Rd. was held up at gunpoint by two masked men on March 7. No one has been arrested for the crime.
Police say a woman questioned near the bank after it was held up on March 7 lied to the officer when he asked where she lived. Sgt. Joe Friday stopped the vehicle of Brianna Sandarelli. Police say she gave Sgt. Friday a fake address.
Sandarelli was arrested on Monday on a charge of resist, obstruct and delaying justice because of the false information given to the officer during the traffic stop, police say.
Police believe Sandarelli is an acquiantance of Jarell Akins. Akins is the man in the surveillance video from minutes before the robbery occurred. He has also been named as a person of interest.
