Two men were injured when police say they refused to give up their scooters to two robbers.
Greenville police say they were able to find the two suspects and have charged them with the robbery. Quintin Freeman is charged with common law robbery, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a weapon by a prisoner, while Darquell Brown was charged with common law robbery.
Police say the two robberies occurred Wednesday night five minutes apart near Ward and Hudson streets and West Third and Hudson streets. Both victims say two men approached them and demanded their scooters. The two victims were assaulted by the robbers.
Police were able to recover both stolen scooters. Freeman's bond was set at $162,000 while Brown's bond was $50,000. The two victims were treated by Greenville EMS for minor injuries.
