Police: Man Shot In Leg

Greenville police are investigating a shooting where a man was shot in the leg, but they say he is not being cooperative.

Around 3:15 a.m. Sunday officers responded to a call from PCMH that a victim had been shot in the leg.

They say the victim was uncooperative and would only say he was shot in the area of Hudson Street and Colonial Avenue. Police say this location has not been confirmed.

Also, the victim gave police several different names. At this time they the victim is determined to be Oranda Clemons.

The victim was treated at PCMH for what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.

The "victim" obviously knows who the shooter is. It's probably a "business associate". People who won't turn in violent criminals are just as guilty as the criminals themselves. Can you say "Aiding and abetting"? Wake up, Greenville. Silence = Support for these thugs...

Are you sure its really your family member since the "victim" gave multiple names to the police and is only "determined" to be someone...and as to who wants to cooperate with GPD...VICTIMS that's who...unless you're not really a 'victim' or aren't as innocent as you would have others to believe. And it seems to me that you are no better than those posting comments wishing bad things on others...just like you have done...stones in glass houses don't work!

Drug deal gone south. I really like the salt in the wound idea. Bite the bullet: Are you running for "judge", in the next election?

Why would anyone not cooperate with police after being shot? Only 2 reasons come to mind. The person shot was engaged in illegal activity. Or the person shot knows the shooter and intends to get even.

Wait till he tells who shot him before fixing his leg...see how long it takes for him to start talking. Put a little salt in the wound, too.
