Pitt County Sees Good Response To Early Voting

More than 900 Pitt county voters had cast their ballots early as of Thursday.

There are city and town council races on the ballot, along with mayors, depending on where you live in the county. Early voters say they like making their minds up ahead of election day.

"It is so convenient. You never know when you're not going to be in town when voting day comes, and once you do it you know you got it out of the way and you've done it." said early voter Robert Dean

Early voting continues through November 5th. Election day is November 8th.

Way too many days of early voting and for most of the county we have to drive too far.
