The Pitt County School Board will meet Monday night to discuss the state senate bill to reduce the number of representatives on the board.
State senator Louis Pate is sponsoring the bill. In February, the Pitt County School Board voted against changing its size in a 7-5 vote.
Monday night's meeting will take place at 6 p.m. in the third floor board room at the Pitt County Office Building. It is unclear if Pate will attend.
