Pitt County Man Facing Drug Charges In Federal Custody

A suspected drug dealer from Pitt County is now in federal custody.

Eric Jackson, 36, of Grifton, is in the Pitt County jail, though he is considered to be in federal custody.

A federal grand jury indicted Jackson earlier this month on three counts of distributing cocaine. The charges are the result of a year-long joint investigation between the sheriff's offices in Craven and Pitt counties.

This story has a MAJOR error in it's language... This couldn't have possibly been a "year-long joint investigation", because the guy was arrested for cocaine. IF it were REALLY a "joint investigation", he would have been arrested for marijuana... LOL...
