Pitt Co. Deputies Looking For Whereabouts Of Registered Sex Offender

Pitt County Sheriff's deputies need your help finding an unaccounted for registered sex offender.

Clyde Edmonson's last known address is 1112 Dickinson Avenue in Pitt County, but detectives were not able to locate him during a routine address check.

They ask you contact the Pitt County sheriff's office if you have any information.

    The thing about NC laws is it puts all sex offenders in one group. So you don't know who is high and low risks. All sex offenders are not the same.

        Amen. Take it from a mother whose child was abused 4 yrs ago. I live less than a mile from the guy who abused my daughter and I am always Keeping my eye out where he is and if he is in any more trouble again. He is a registered offender praise god, so families out there can hopefully protect their children from scum 0f the earth like these guys are!

          No law is going to make your kid or mine safe. If your child was abused for 4 years it must have been someone you knew or relative. Probable was no stranger. You can keep up with people today many ways. Look at all that was charged before the laws came out. You have one the works at the airport in Greenville NC. I'm sick of the news putting them up here every week. It just like women and girls goes missing. Its all over the news. When just as many men and boys go missing every year and you don't see them on the news. Its like only females go missing. If we looked after our kids and not leave them along or drop them off at a play room or mall. The lews are only feel good lews they don't protecor your or my kids. Its a wast of money when the laws don't help.
