A dog named Izzy visited WITN News at Sunrise as the Pet of the Week Wednesday.
Izzy is a seven-year-old dog who is used to a good loving home. She has been at the Humane Society for a couple of months now, and last week, her best friend was adopted. Now she is looking for her own forever home.
Izzy may be slightly gray around the face, but she is still full of life! Izzy is a terrier mix so she has a lot of energy in a small package. Most of her energy is excitement over any attention you give her, she especially loves to give kisses! She is house trained, and will make a terrific pet.
All dogs at the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, and on heartworm and flea prevention. All dogs 6 months or older are tested for heartworms. Their adoption comes with a small bag of Hill's Science Diet food and a free one month trial of pet health insurance.
If you are interested in adopting Izzy or any of the animals at the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina, please contact them at (252) 413-7247 or visit them online at www.hsecarolina.org.
