Pet Of The Week

A dog named Zeke visited WITN News at Sunrise as the Pet of the Week Wednesday.

Zeke is a 3-year-old neutered male Cattle dog mix who was pulled from the local shelter. He is such a sweet boy who thrives on love, attention and play. He is so smart that he learned basic commands like sit, down and stay in no time. He even learned to shake. Zeke has so much learning potential.

All dogs at the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, and on heartworm and flea prevention. All dogs 6 months or older are tested for heartworms. Their adoption comes with a small bag of Hill's Science Diet food and a free one month trial of pet health insurance.

If you are interested in adopting Zeke or any of the animals at the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina, please contact them at (252) 413-7247 or visit them online at www.hsecarolina.org.

Gee Neo. I hope the dog that lives in your shed doesn't pee on you. That would be a shame.

Sorry about the rose bushes leg warmer guy. That's just another reason for you animal fanatics to love animals, they pee on things and make them die.

"Whezza", you must be that guy in the leg warmers, spandex shorts and halter top that keeps screaming at the dog who lives in my shed. I did not tell him to stroll over to your yard to drop out after a healthy meal of yellow and black wrapper special from the DG dolla stowe. He doesn't understand English and doesn't listen well anyway. I guess after seeing your two little panty-waisted sniffeachothers prancing around your yard, he figured they would be afraid to confront him about it anyway. Also, I will not replace the little morsels of high end dog food that he bullies your little Fee Fee and Fu Fu out of either. Your little prancing pooches should "DOG UP" and stop him if they don't like it. BTW, it was the cat that "Whezzad" on your rose bushes, couldn't mistake that scent.....ever.

Yes, it looks like a great dog; however, we must all pray that Neo doesn't adopt it, cause the poor animal will be nothing more than a yard dog to him eating DG brand food from the Dollar Store.
