Perdue Campaign: She's Still Running In 2012

Gov. Beverly Perdue's campaign staff has dismissed a comment by a North Carolina state House member who predicted she won't run for re-election next year.

Rep. Bill Faison of Orange County -- a Democrat like Perdue -- said Tuesday her current campaign organization doesn't look like one that's seriously aiming for another four-year term for governor. Faison said Monday's indictments of two workers from Perdue's 2008 campaign and a close family friend on campaign finance-related charges also are a distraction for her office.

Perdue campaign manager Fiona Conroy responded by saying the governor is running for re-election.

Faison says he would consider running for governor if Perdue stepped aside but he said no decision has been made.

Senate Democratic leader Martin Nesbitt said he supports Perdue's re-election campaign.

The only race that Bev should run in is the race to U-Haul to rent a truck so she can move out of the Governor's Mansion after the 2012 election...

She will be wasting her time & money to run for re-election. She has made way too many people mad to win in 2012. Easley trained her...nuff said...

Here we go again. Bill Faison is in someone elses kool aid again and does not know what flavor it is. Perdue will probably run and be defeated but Bill you are the biggest want-to-be we have seen and boy do you have some people so badly fooled as they follow you around like a little puppy!!

I could care less if she runs or not..she will be beaten so badly by whomever runs against her it will be laughable. I wasted a vote on her in 08, and that is a mistake I will not duplicate, I DON'T CARE WHO ELSE RUNS-they have to be better than her!!!!
