Food, Tetanus Shots Available In Pamlico County

The boil water advisory continues in Pamlico County Wednesday, one of the seven counties Governor Perdue is asking to be declared a federal disaster area.

The Pamlico County Health Department will begin giving out tetanus shots Wednesday. Fire departments will continue to distribute food and water to those in need.

The of the county's hardest hit areas are Hobucken and Lowland. Residents say neighborhoods that have not flooded in 100 years, not even during Hurricane Floyd, flooded during Irene.
