POLICE: Two Men Running With 42-Inch TV

A man says he was forced into his home at gunpoint where robbers made off with a 42-inch television, on foot.

Kinston police say they got a call Saturday night to Hines Street and Lenoir Avenue about people running down the street with a television. When they arrived at the home on Hines Street they learned the resident had been sitting in his vehicle in his front yard when he was approached by two men. One pointed a silver handgun at him and demanded money.

The victim says he was forced inside the home where the robbers took the TV, a video gaming system, two cell phones, his wallet and keys to his home and vehicle. They were last seen running down the street.

A witness says two men were seen leaving the area in a green 4-door Mitsubishi. So far no arrests have been made in the armed robbery.

These are the obama voters in action. Work to earn money ?? Nah... we don't need no job, we'll just take want we want. Now we can watch tv while we wait for our unemployment check, our welfare check and our food stamp card. Ummmm the American life is so good since obama was elected.

Robbing people is HARD WORK! It takes guts and a reckless abandon that can be too much for most people (with a heart) and running down the street with a TV might LOOK easy, trust me, only the Marines work that hard for their, umm..., paycheck. Who says thugs are lazy? ♫ "He Works Hard For The Money, So Hard For It Honey" ♫

I'd love to have seen the headline, "Two Men Skateboarding with Santa Claus suits on with 42-inch TV's" No one has creativity anymore in their jobs.

Wow; what a great fifteen minutes of fame for this bunch. Their families must be so proud. That TV will 'croak' in less than a month, if they ran the wrong way.

Technically it was on 4 feet. I'm just impressed they were able to run with it.

This is a great idea for a new event at the summer games . The two man 800 meter flat screen dash. Maybe the USA could beat the Danes.

HAHA. Call it the US thug olympics. Have the best and brighest prisoners from all over compete for canteen money. One event I'd like to see, would be who could break into a car the fastest, with the least amount of damage of course.
