POLICE: Men Fired Into Home With 16 People Inside

Police say two Goldsboro men are in jail after they saw them fire a gun into a home with 16 people inside.

Demarcus Davis is facing multiple charges, including shooting into an occupied dwelling, first degree burglary, assault by pointing a gun and flee to elude.

Darrell Williamson, Jr. was charged with first degree burglary and shooting into an occupied dwelling.

Police say the two were arrested Friday after a vehicle chase by police and a brief foot chase. An officer says he saw the men fire into the home at 415 South George Street. No one was injured.

Davis was given no bond, while Williamson's bond was set at $10,000.

What is this world coming too. I say we do what other countries do and make every kid coming out of high school join the army for at least two years. This could help curve the violence and take young kids off the streets so they don't become like these two guys. Lets get these guys a career path instead of a criminal history.

With all these serious charges their bail is only $10K? Sounds like a bail that would be set by G.K. Butterfield. What judge would set a bail so low for a menace to society?? BTW, firing into a house with 16 people inside sounds like they should be candidates for Federal officers.... remember Waco and Ruby Ridge? LOL! Just kidding.... no I'm not. I doubt this will make the posting but it makes a point.

Lets give these two a break. I'm sure there was a legitimate reason they felt the need to put a cap inside a home with 16 people inside. Maybe they were owed a pack of gum or something? Sarcasm aside, it is what it is people, but we continue to disregard the source of the problem.
