Police said a man is lucky to be alive after an early morning roll-over wreck.

New Bern Police said they arrived to the wreck between 3 and 4 Friday morning to find 26-year-old Thomas Foskey sitting on the roadside near his flipped car.

Police said Foskey hit trees and flipped his car into someone's front yard near the intersection of National Avenue and National Court Drive in New Bern.

Investigators said they were unable to test for alcohol at the scene, and are continuing their investigation to find out if alcohol was a factor in the wreck.

Foskey was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

No word yet on any charges or citations for the driver.
