An Onslow County teen faces charges after deputies say he brought a pellet gun to school.
Deputies say it happened Tuesday morning at Dixon High School.
Investigators say a student approached a school resource officer and told him another student, 16-year-old Corey Wolff, had a firearm in his backpack.
After searching Wolff's bag, deputies found the pellet gun.
Wolff was taken into custody and charged with possession of a firearm on a school campus.
