District Attorney Ponders Death Penalty In Farmville Triple Murder

Pitt County District Attorney Clark Everett and Pitt County Sheriff Neil Elks are expected to meet this week to discuss whether to pursue the death penalty or not in the triple murder in Farmville.

Sunday marked one week since an armed robbery turned deadly at a convenience store in Farmville. Four suspects have been charged in the triple murder.

Antwan Anthony of Bethel, Xavier Shamble of Farmville and Willie Whitehead of Pinetops are all in jail without bond. Their next court date is set for April 19th. A juvenile has also been charged.

Deputies say last Sunday the suspects robbed and then killed three employees at the Hustle Mart in Farmville around 10 p.m.

26-year-old Nabil Almoganahi, 24-year-old David Alawi, and 16-year-old Sam Almoganahi were shot and killed.
