Greenville fire officials say many people had to be evacuated Saturday afternoon and one person was sent to the hospital after a fire broke out at an apartment complex.
Fire officials say they responded to the call of a fire around 2:15 p.m. They say the fire started at apartment number 20, unit 1902 on Rosemont Drive and then spread to the apartment next to it.
Everyone living near the apartment in that complex were evacuated. One person had to be hospitalized for smoke inhalation.
Both apartments received smoke and water damage. They are unlivable until they are repaired.
