A couple whose city was leveled in the recent New Zealand earthquake is now staying with their daughter in Carteret County.
Julie McSwain says her parents Bob and Shirley Phillips are now with her after Christchurch was devastated by the earthquake a little over three weeks ago.
The Phillips say they will go home to pick up the pieces, but they aren't sure if they will continue to live in Christchurch, partly because they fear there could be another earthquake.
The Phillips also say although they are going through their own tragedy, they can't help but think of Japan.
