New Bern Police Search For Shooting Suspect, 2 Injured

The search is on for a shooting suspect who may have injured two people.

New Bern police say around 2:00 a.m. Tuesday they responded to a report of shots fired near 908 Pavie Avenue. The caller reported she heard 5 or 6 gunshots and her window shattered. Some of the glass struck her young child in the face, however she refused EMS. About ten minutes later, police say 30-year old Nassar Mack showed up at Carolina East Medical Center with multiple gunshot wounds. He was later flown to PCMH. Detectives are investigating and searching for suspects.

Yes I am shocked too; as much as I sympathize with the neighbors, life is life and reality is reality. Maybe, it is about time the upper class understand what goes on day to day in the low income neighborhoods. And unfortunately they had to experience it this way. The one I really feel sorry for is Mr. Mack. The pain he must be in right now. Have you ever been shot Mr/Ms I'm Shocked? I cant imagine that you have considering you are more concerned about kids that are living in "CUSHY" homes rather than the person that was injured. Not only will I be praying for Mr. Mack but I will pray for you too, b/c you are a lost soul. GOD BLESS!

Right smack dab in the middle of the high-rent section of New Bern. I'm sure the neighbors kids are gonna need counciling as the young ones aren't use to such traumatic events.
