Neighbor Helps Foil Breaking & Entering

A vigilant neighbor helped police catch two men who are now charged with breaking and entering.

The Onslow County Sheriff's Office says Armando Pina and Joseph Dixon are charged with breaking and entering, after a man returning home from an early morning jog saw them loading his neighbors property into a van.

The jogger confronted the two and was told they were doing a favor for a friend. Not buying the story the neighbor asked for identification, and told the men to return the property. They did but kept some cash.

The neighbor took down the license plate number and called police. Pina and Dixon were arrested shortly after.

The stolen money was recovered.

I agree with the "at gun point" comment. They should have been proned out on the ground till the Sheriffs Department arrived.

They had the correct house. Sent there by a past jail mate to steal. The young one is a frequent thug.

For all of you too scared to show your names... and think these thigs are innocent! Believe they were driven to this property and fingerprints were recovered! Know the facts before making idiotic comments. Feel for the victims you selfish people.

Props to the neighbor for stopping them. When good men confront evil, evil can not prevail.

Who is to say that they simply had the wrong address and were supposed to be helping, I say that they were innocent. They didn't mean it and should be let free.

These two are good boys that never did anything wrong. I believe them when they say they were helping out. More neighbors should mind their own buisness.
